Marengo Beach access ramp complete

Marengo Beach has a fresh new way down to the sand, with the upgraded beach access ramp now complete and open for locals, visitors and Great Ocean Walk users.

 

The rebuilt ramp provides a safer and sturdier connection to the beach, with non-slip decking, handrails and improved structural strength to help it better handle the busy, salty and ever-changing coastal environment.

 

The new access keeps the same footprint and feel as the previous ramp, while giving it the extra resilience needed for life on the Great Ocean Road.

 

It is a small but important improvement for one of Marengo’s much-loved beach access points, making it easier for people to enjoy the coast, connect with the Great Ocean Walk and get down to the sand safely.
