After being significantly impacted by January’s flood events, Erskine River Park in Lorne is welcoming visitors back this week, with bookings now open and the first guests have arrived on Wednesday.

Set along the banks of the Erskine River, the park has undergone an extensive clean-up and recovery effort following flood damage earlier this year. Crews have been working steadily behind the scenes to restore the site, clearing debris, repairing infrastructure and making sure facilities are safe and ready for use.

The result is a space that once again offers a quiet place to stay right in the heart of Lorne’s natural surrounds.

Erskine River Park caters to a range of visitors, with powered sites, a camp kitchen, laundry and amenities block, as well as accessible facilities including toilets and a family bathroom. For those drawn to the water, the park’s fishing platforms remain a highlight, sitting just metres from the river.

The reopening marks a welcome return for one of Lorne’s much-loved places to stay - refreshed, ready and back at its best.

Bookings are now open for those looking to plan a stay.
