Various Locations | Great Ocean Road, Victoria
Casual | Approx. 3-Month Assignment
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and adaptable Accommodation Relief Manager to provide short-term management support across GORCAPA's accommodation portfolio along the iconic Great Ocean Road.
This is a casual position expected to run for approximately three months, with the potential to be extended based on business needs. While casual in nature, the role is expected to work approximately full-time hours throughout the assignment.
The position will work across a range of our caravan parks, recreation reserves and accommodation sites, stepping in where operational support is required. As a result, travel between locations will be required and, where operationally necessary, accommodation support may be provided when working away from your primary residence.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast-paced accommodation environments and can quickly build strong relationships with staff, guests and local communities.
The role involves a rotating roster that includes weekend work, public holidays and occasional after-hours call-outs. Relevant penalty rates and allowances apply, and a mobile phone will be provided.
What You'll Do
- Provide relief management across GORCAPA's accommodation sites along the Great Ocean Road.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of caravan parks, recreation reserves and accommodation facilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest enquiries and issues professionally.
- Supervise, support and develop site-based teams.
- Oversee reservations, administration, financial reconciliations and reporting.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure facilities are presented to a high standard.
- Monitor site safety and compliance, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Respond to operational issues, including occasional after-hours maintenance or guest matters.
- Work closely with the Accommodation Services Manager to support business performance and continuous improvement.
