In a major construction milestone, the vast rammed-earth façade of the new Twelve Apostles Visitor Experience Centre has been completed, creating a stunning welcome for the millions who will visit the new precinct.

This rounds out the main structure of the building that will be a world-class gateway to the region when it opens later this year.

The facade was created by regional Victorian company Earth Structures using 1,500 tonnes of rock, part of a design and use of materials that will see the visitor centre sit gently within the coastal landscape.

Many regional businesses are helping to shape this major project, with companies in Colac, Warrnambool, Geelong and Ballarat having been engaged on construction of the building.
