Coastal track and carpark maintenance scheduled this December

A series of minor track and carpark maintenance works will take place along the coast over the next week as preparations ramp up for the summer season.

Aireys Inlet (Split Point Lighthouse / Sandy Gully)

The Split Point Lighthouse carpark will be closed for a short period while crews complete surface maintenance. Works will start early in the day on Thursday, 4 December to minimise impacts on visitors.

Point Roadknight / Anglesea SLSC

Temporary closures will be in place at both carparks while maintenance works are carried out.

Rocky Point to Bells Beach Walking Track

Track upgrades will occur along this section, with the nearby carpark closed during construction.

Point Impossible

No disruptions are expected.

These works form part of routine coastal upkeep to ensure key visitor sites remain safe, accessible and in good condition ahead of the busy holiday period. GORCAPA appreciates our community’s patience while crews complete these improvements.
