Works inside the new visitor centre continue to progress well with the internal fit-out of spaces now underway following the installation of key services.

Outside, the Welcome Garden is taking shape, with footpaths and landscaping almost finished. In a few months, this garden will begin to be planted with hundreds of seedlings sourced from local nurseries.

Work has also started on a path that will take visitors to an outdoor gathering space, while further paths will soon be created across the visitor centre’s rooftop garden. Here, visitors will be able to access a lookout with stunning views across the coastal landscape.

Carparks for the visitor precinct have also now been completed, an important part of the redevelopment that will help to more safely and sustainably manage vehicles.
