Education is fundamental to the ongoing protection of our iconic Great Ocean Road coast and parks.

The education of the next generation of coastal protectors through our Environmental Education Programs is founded on natural resource management practices and hands-on conservation activities.

Our Environmental Education Team equips participants with the knowledge and skills to understand, respect and protect the natural, cultural and heritage values of coastal Crown land and marine waters along the Great Ocean Road.

Lead by passionate, qualified educators, our ‘coastal classrooms’ provide a range of engaging, fun and authentic learning opportunities for students of all ages.

Our sessions provide hands-on learning experiences and a chance for students to build genuine connections and respect for coastal environments, teaching them to care for the biodiversity within them.

We pride ourselves on offering programs that can be tailored to suit the age, abilities and curriculum needs of any group.

Additionally, we currently manage eight caravan parks and campgrounds along the Great Ocean Road. These facilities offer plenty of activity options, in unique and accessible locations for school camps. Schools that stay in our caravan parks can also qualify for a free Environmental Education session.
