School Holidays Rock Pool Ramble

An adventurous bunch of school holiday kids braved the early morning rain to explore Rocky Point, Torquay with us. Just as we were readying for our ramble the clouds parted and we were rewarded with perfect weather conditions! All sorts of weird and wonderful treasures were found, including sea stars, anemones, and a sea urchin. This group had some of the keenest eyes for spotting sea creatures, finding seastars, anemones, sea urchins and more than one elusive decorator crab. Days like this make braving the cooler Autumn conditions all worth it!
