Summer has flown by, and Term 1 is in full swing with many exciting changes for the team. As we soon bid ‘happy long service leave’ to Pete for the next two terms, we are excited to bring some new faces to the team. Watch this space!

As always, the Term is already filling up fast with Environmental Education classes, as schools take advantage of the (normally) finer weather at this time of year to bring students on outdoor excursions and camps. Our Coast Guardians program is looking busy as ever this year as well. We welcome back this year our long participant schools Geelong Lutheran College, Surf Coast Secondary College and Sacred Heart College, in addition to Year 10’s from Iona College, who will be taking part for the first time this year. To find out more about the Coast Guardians program and how your school can get involved in 2024, check out our website and download our fact sheet.

Whether you work in kinder, primary, secondary, tertiary or other educational settings, we have a range of outdoor environmental education experiences for your students this year. Head to our website, fill in the online enquiry form or send an email to education@greatoceanroadauthority.vic.gov.au to find out more.
