A record breaking start to the school year

10 March 2024

Our Education team has started the year running – or perhaps that should be sprinting, with almost 1300 students joining the team this term!

Exploring the stunning environments of the Great Ocean Road, students from kinder up to VCE learnt about everything from ecosystem services and human impacts to the lifecycles of our native vegetation and fauna, and the importance of taking the time to sit and connect with these natural places. An extra big thank-you to all our schools who took part in litter collections and audits, brush matting and weeding activities as well.

Your hard work has contributed over 320 hours of conservation work to improve the biodiversity and conservation of our unique coastal ecosystems!
