We’re thrilled to announce the eagerly anticipated Coastal Projects Open Day event in Apollo Bay on Friday, 10 November and Saturday, 11 November, where locals are invited to drop-in at any time.

This two-day event, hosted at the Apollo Bay Golf Club, promises to be a fantastic opportunity for community members to connect with the Authority and learn more about a range of active projects that are underway in the local area.

Our team will be present, ready to discuss the projects they are spearheading, and representatives from the Department of Energy, Environment, and Climate Action will also join us to share insights on their projects.

Our team will be on hand to answer questions and chat about a variety of projects including:

• Point Bunbury Path

• Land Management transfers in Apollo Bay

• Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve Masterplan

• Apollo Bay Harbour Redevelopment

• Mounts Bay Adaptation Plan – (Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action)

• Coastal monitoring: Beachstat Research Stations – (Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action

Light refreshments and informative project handouts will be available and community members can drop-in anytime.

The Coastal Projects Open Day is only the beginning of a series of events to connect and inform our communities along the Great Ocean Road.
