Booking Information
From 1 July 2026, bookings are available 12 months in advance, excluding the below booking release dates:
Bookings for 18 December 2026 to 28 February 2027 open 10am Wednesday 8 July 2026.
Bookings for 18 December 2027 to 29 February 2028– 10am Wednesday 10 February 2027.
As of 2027 onwards, Summer Peak booking release will be available from the 2nd Wednesday of February each year.
The Victorian Government is investing $10.5 million to keep camping fees half price at National Park campgrounds across the state until July 2027.
Since half-price camping was introduced in 2019, campers have saved more than $25 million in booking fees. The return to half-price camping ensures more Victorians can get out into the great outdoors.
The following conditions will apply to half-price camping:
- A maximum of three campsites per campground can be booked per transaction (previously two)
- A cancellation and refunds policy, to encourage campers to cancel/modify their booking if plans change.
Making a booking
When you're ready to book, ensure you have the following handy:
- The name and site number of your preferred campground, dates, and site – and a plan B and C in case they are already booked out
- Personal details including name, address, phone number and email address
- Your vehicle registration details.
By making a booking in campgrounds managed by the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) you are accepting these terms and conditions.
The permit holder and all nominated guests must observe and comply with the National Parks Act 1975 (Vic) and the National Parks Regulations 2024, as well as all other applicable regulations.
You are legally required to obey all physical signs, notices, and barriers erected throughout the park or reserve.
Park Ranger directives take immediate precedence over booking confirmations.
