Individual Area

Ryans Den Hike-in Campground individual area has eight 3.5m x 3.5m (approx) campsites, each site can accommodate up to three people.

Facilities

  • Two untreated rainwater tanks,
  • Two composting toilets 
  • Three sided shelter with a camp table and seating.

Ryans Den Hike in Campground is a remote site set among tall eucalypts, with spectacular ocean views towards Cape Otway in the east and Submarine Rock in the west.

 

Walk information

Johanna Beach Hike in Campground to Ryans Den Hike in Campground

Continue through the wild western section of the walk, with dramatic coastal views and remote walking conditions. This section is best suited to prepared walkers with suitable gear and a clear plan.

Grade: Medium to hard
