The walking trail from the Point Roadknight Beach car park to Guvvos Beach, Anglesea, is temporarily closed due to a deep sink hole that has appeared and is a public safety risk.
Surf Coast Shire Council are investigating the cause of the sink hole, which could be related to the stormwater drain under the sand dune.
The public can still access Guvvos Beach via a walking track off Melba Parade just up from the car park. Please follow all signage on site.
Thank you to the community for your understanding while Council undertakes investigations.
