We’re inviting you to share your views on the Taylor Park Conservation Improvement Project, which aims to enhance the natural and recreational values of the park.

Taylor Park is a popular destination for locals and visitors and is also home to plants and animals of significant conservation value.

The park has many informal tracks that disrupt vegetation within the conservation areas and present a safety risk to park users.

This project will bring together paths within the park at the end of winter, to improve conservation areas and create a safer and more accessible space for all.

It will also help us achieve the main goals outlined in the Taylor Park Masterplan, which was developed with the community in 2019:

  • Consolidate conservation areas within Taylor Park to improve conservation values
  • Create a safer and more accessible space for all park users, reducing the need to remove unsafe trees
  • Create better defined and consolidated pedestrian pathways

Before works begin, we want to learn more about how you use the park and if introducing signage would create a better experience. Your feedback will help inform the design and implementation of the project.

The survey will be open until August 16 so to get involved visit our Have Your Say page.

We appreciate your ongoing support and involvement in improving Taylor Park for everyone to enjoy.
