Dob in a Den Campaign

The Dob in a Den campaign will be running from now through to November.

The campaign has stemmed from our Otway Ark program; which has carried out a landscape-scale baiting program to control foxes across the Otway Ranges since 2017. The ongoing baiting program has reduced fox populations to relatively low densities in many areas of the Great Otway National Park.

While foxes are being controlled in the National Park, they find a safe haven around Otway communities such as Grey River, Kennett River, Wye River, Lorne, Big Hill, Eastern View, Moggs Creek, Fairhaven, Aireys Inlet and Anglesea. To help prevent foxes repopulating the National Park from our townships, we are asking or visitors and residents (of the above mentioned townships) to report any potential fox dens they see.

This can be done by emailing dobinaden@parks.vic.gov.au or phoning 13 19 63.
