Community Education Program

A child and their parent explore the wonders of the Great Ocean Road at a Community Education Program session.

Our Community Education Program supports numerous other local programs and events each year, to raise environmental awareness in our community.

Education is an important aspect of coastal conservation and through the Community Education Program, we aim to create improvements in visitor behaviour and attitudes towards coastal protection.

School holiday caravan park activities

We offer free environmental education activities across the coast during summer, selected school holidays and long weekends. These programs are exclusive to the guests staying at the caravan parks and campsites we manage – the aim is to enrich our guest’s connection with the coast during their visit to the Great Ocean Road.

Our activities include rockpool rambles, stargazing, biodiversity trailer presentations, nature craft activities, guided walks and much more. Come stay, play and learn about the coast with us.

Our Environmental Education Team is available for markets and stalls to help promote environmental stewardship in the Great Ocean Road region.

We offer a range of interactive and informative activities to educate the public about our ongoing commitment to protect the natural assets along the coast.
