Surf Coast Kite Festival

Our Education Team were thrilled to participate in the Surf Coast Kite Festival, which took place at Fishermans Beach Foreshore, Torquay.

The event was back for the first time since before the pandemic and had a central focus on community involvement and sustainability, with families attending from near and far, raising funds for local Jan Juc Preschool.

Education Team Officers Mel and Kim enthralled young minds with their fascinating beach treasures and reminded all community members, big and small, to help look after our precious coastal home. Add in some fun nature craft and stunning kites, and everyone's spirits were sky-high!
