Coastal conservation

Geelong High School students helped dismantle a shelter made in the Anglesea dunes out of illegally cut Moonah branches.

Although very disappointing to find this environmental damage, the group used the branches for good, brush matting a large blow out in the dunes to prevent further erosion of our delicate coastline.

The straight limbs of Moonah were also kept aside to offer to Wadawurrung to create clapping sticks.
