It's always a great day in the office when you're out on-site!

Last Tuesday, our Conservation Supervisor, Scott Hives, took two of our friends from the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority on tour to visit two of our projects funded by the Corangamite CMA's Coastal Management Grants initiative.

Funding from the grant has enabled Scott and his team to install fencing at the Painkalac dunes and Eastern View to prevent informal access to these delicate dune systems that the beloved endangered Hooded Plover calls home.

Soon, weed management will begin in the dune, with brush matting being added to stabilise the eroded parts of the dunes, and our team will deliver revegetation works to help naturally stabilise this dune system and allow for sand movement around the plants.

You can help us protect our precious dunes by walking on designated paths, follow relevant dog regulations and abiding by the signage.
