Apollo Bay

Located between Wye River and Cape Otway, Apollo Bay boasts panoramic views of the ocean and rolling green hills.

This seaside town has become a popular tourist destination, offering beaches suitable for swimming and surfing and a boat harbour and marina that includes a large fishing fleet.

Apollo Bay is home to a large permanent resident population and has a lively mix of pubs, restaurants, clothing stores, plus plenty of playgrounds and entertainment for all.

Renowned for its rugged coastline and beautiful beaches, Apollo Bay is the perfect base to start exploring and really get a taste of what the region has to offer.

If you decide to stay in town, campsites and cabins are available at the Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve. The sites are spacious, family friendly and are situated alongside the Barham River, across the road from the main beach. The Reserve is less than one kilometre to the town centre, cafes and restaurants, a 9-hole golf course and the marina for fresh, local seafood.
