Located at the mouth of the Anglesea River, Anglesea Beach offers protected swimming areas that are ideal for families and less experienced swimmers. The Anglesea Surf Beach is perfect for surfers of all levels of experience and several operators offer lessons from this location. All beaches in the area are patrolled during the warmer months by Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club

With its varied cafes, restaurants, shopping strips, water pursuits, activities for kids and abundant native flora and fauna, Anglesea is perfect for a day trip or a week’s holiday.

If you are looking for a place to stay, the Anglesea Family Caravan Park is the perfect holiday destination to explore and create memories.

Just off the Great Ocean Road and alongside the picturesque Anglesea River and Surf Beach, it’s a must for your next adventure in nature, weekend away or extended camping trip.

Changing Places facility

There is a Changing Places facility located at Four Kings Car Park, next to the public car park and toilet block. Features include an adult sized change table, ceiling hoist, peninsula toilet and shower.

People with disability can access the Changing Places facilities using a Master Locksmiths Access Key.

Please note:

The section of cliffed coastline at Demons Bluff is permanently closed, based on the significant public safety risks landslips pose in the area. An exclusion zone has been set from 100 metres north of the Anglesea Family Caravan Park beach access ramp to 300 metres past Grinders Point.

It is important to follow the signs and keep out of fenced off areas, as landslips are unpredictable and can occur without warning. The size of material that falls onto the beach can be exceptionally large, with rocks and debris a potentially fatal hazard.
